Machine Operator

£12.71ph | Corby (NN17 4JW) | Monday to Friday - 6:00am - 2:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Machine Operator to join a successful and expanding manufacturing company in Corby. With over 35 years of industry experience, our client has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and is now looking for a motivated individual to become part of their growing production team.

This is a hands-on role offering full training, a supportive working environment, and the potential for a permanent position.

The Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

Operating a range of production machinery

Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications

Loading, moving and feeding materials into machines as required

Performing routine machine lubrication and basic operational maintenance

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move finished pallets into the warehouse

Following maintenance procedures and production schedules

Ensuring high standards of safety, quality and productivity are maintained at all times

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, machine operating or powder coating environment

A good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards

The ability to follow instructions and work towards production targets

A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Counterbalance FLT experience or licence (desirable but not essential)

Previous experience working with chemical paint stripping processes within a manufacturing environment.

Full training and one-to-one support will be provided to help you develop within the role.
