Sales Account Manager

Our client is a business communications specialist providing a range of products and services designed to save their customers time and money. Established in 2005 they have built up a nationwide customer base and are looking for Sales Account Manager's to join their team and help grow the business.
The Role
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for providing first-line customer support and maintaining a pro-active contact relationship with an established customer base, to develop further sales opportunities and account development.
As an Account Manager your responsibilities will include:
Scheduling pro-active calls to the customer base to review the account, advise of new features, provide training & promote our associated products and services
Post Sales Processing, including processing contracts and configuring devices
Handling customer service queries on your accounts
Generating sales opportunities with prospective customers and converting to appointments
Self-generating new leads
Following up on quotes and qualifying sales leads
Data profiling and updating records
Monitoring pipeline
Requirements
Essential:
Previous experience working in a B2B outbound role
Passionate with excellent rapport skills
Good organisational and planning skills
Self-motivated with the drive to be successful
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Both a professional telephone manner, and comfortable being on the phone/conducting webinars for most of the day
Desirable:
Account Manager, or outbound sales experience, within the business-to-business setting
Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers
Hours:
Full Time – Monday to Thursday 9 – 17:30, Friday 9 – 16:30
Part Time – Flexible within the hours above
Salary will be from £22,000-£28,000 depending on experience with uncapped commission. 20 days holiday rising to 25 plus Bank Holidays
