Care Assistant for a lady P/T@ £12.85/hr in Redcar - PTE

Job Opportunity: Personal Assistant (Redcar)We are seeking a friendly, empathetic, and experienced Personal Assistant to support a lady in Redcar in maintaining her independence at home. This role involves assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing and dressing.
  • Assist with light domestic duties such as meal preparation, hoovering, dusting, and general tidying and organising.
  • Support the client in accessing the community—enjoying time in the garden, visiting local places, and going out for coffee.
  • Help with mobility within the home; experience with hoist transfers is highly desirable.
  • Offer companionship and attentive support tailored to the client’s preferences.
  • Care for the client’s cat, including feeding and cleaning the litter box.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Reliable and compassionate with a sensitive, person-centred approach.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Experience with spinal injuries is an advantage.
  • Must be comfortable around cats.

Working Hours:Shifts may include full days or split shifts, with opportunities for additional hours to cover holidays and sickness.
