Job Details

The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering carpets to our B2B customer base. The role involves the handling of carpets, some weighing up to 250kg, using the manual handling equipment provided. At certain customer locations, carpet booms are available, allowing the customer to unload the vehicle directly at the point of delivery.

Working Pattern & Pay Structure

* Monday to Friday

* 05:00 - 06:00 start time each day

* Guaranteed 10 hours per day

* A 45-minute break will be deducted from any shift exceeding 10.75 hours

* Overtime payable after 53.75 hours per week (calculated after the above break deductions across the working week)

* Pay rate: £18.07 per hour

Manual Handling Equipment Provided

To assist with deliveries, drivers will have access to:

Agency Supplier Requirements

Please ensure you meet the following minimum requirements:

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence

* Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card

* No more than 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements)

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties

* Good communication and customer service skills

* Ability to use a PDA device for navigation, product scanning, and electronic job completion

* Reliable, professional, and safety-focused approach

* Willingness to complete an on-site driving assessment and induction prior to start
