Professional Support Lawyer
Norwich
We seek a qualified solicitor to join our client's team of Commercial Professional Support Lawyers (PSL).
The Role
You will work with partners, lawyers, and other PSLs, guided by your Commercial Team Leader.
You will also collaborate with the firmwide Knowledge, Learning & Development (KLD) team.
PSLs provide legal support through internal and external training, updates, briefings, technical advice, and managing know-how.
You will integrate closely with the team, support business development projects, and occasionally travel between regional offices.
Key Areas of Focus:
Commercial contract law
Outsourcing
Projects and public-private partnerships
Information law, data protection, and privacy
Information technology
Responsibilities:
Research and update the team on legal developments
Share knowledge to support business development and client care
Organize and deliver internal and client training sessions
Provide ad-hoc advice and support on client work
Develop and promote knowledge content to enhance the firm’s profile
Collaborate with PSLs and the KLD team on learning initiatives
Experience Required:
Minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience as a Commercial lawyer.
Applications are welcome from existing PSLs, fee earners transitioning to PSL roles, and those with a strong knowledge-sharing background.
