Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver seeking a rewarding role in a thriving warehouse environment? Do you have a knack for safely manoeuvring heavy loads with precision and care? Join our client’s team at their Bedford distribution centre and become an essential part of their logistics team!
Key Responsibilities:
Operating counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and move goods throughout the warehouse.
Safely stacking and retrieving items from shelves and storage areas.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles with accuracy and efficiency.
Conducting regular equipment checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed, including order picking and packing.
Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet operational targets.
Requirements:
Valid counterbalance forklift driver certification and proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
