Applications Engineer role outline:

As an Applications Engineer, you'll act as the technical link between customers, engineering, and manufacturing teams, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and to specification.

Key responsibilities include:

Translating customer requirements into practical engineering solutions and technical documentation.

Producing parts lists, work instructions, and engineering drawings.

Acting as a technical point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Supporting product design, implementation, and project delivery activities.

Collaborating closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout production.

Assisting with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) documentation and customer demonstrations.

Coordinating procurement requirements and supporting the timely ordering of materials and components.

Compiling technical information to support project close-out and invoicing activities.

Maintaining engineering templates, technical documentation, O&M manuals, and label drawings.

Supporting quality, safety, and business management system compliance.

Participating in internal and external project meetings.

Applications Engineer Skillset
