CNC Turner Programmer

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join an established precision engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional looking for a long-term position with a company that offers genuine career progression.

The successful candidate will be responsible for offline programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.

The Role

Creating and modifying offline CNC programmes using Alphacam
Setting and operating CNC turning machines
Working with Doosan and DMG NLX machines
Programming and editing using Fanuc controls
Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
Ensuring components are manufactured to the required quality and tolerances
Carrying out quality checks and using a range of measuring equipment
Working efficiently to production schedules and deadlines
Supporting continuous improvement within the machining departmentThe Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer with:

Proven experience in CNC Turning
Strong offline programming experience using Alphacam - essential
Experience with Doosan and DMG NLX machines - essential
Experience with Fanuc controls
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong understanding of precision engineering and machining tolerances
A good eye for detail and a commitment to producing quality work
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a teamSalary & Benefits

£19.10 - £20.50 per hour, depending on experience
39 hours per week
Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-1:00pm
