Residential Support Worker

Please note : £36,153.00 would be inclusive of Sleep in Shifts at £50 per night with average of 9 per month & approx. 30 hours overtime per month

We have opportunities for Residential Support Workers to join our dynamic teams within our semi-rural children's homes in the Banwen areas, supporting Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties.

Requirement's to be a Residential Support Worker:

Essential

Full UK manual drivers licence

Minimum age 22

Passion to make a difference

Strong communication skills and a team player

Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure

Basic IT skills

Flexibility for shift work, including weekends & sleep ins

Able to act as a positive role model

Desirable

Experience of working with children

Registered with Social Care Wales or must register within initial 6 months in residential care

Experience of working within the care sector

Welsh Speaker
