This is a Scheme Support Officer role based in our Supported accommodation service, Abertonllwyd House, Treherbert, RCT. We have a team of Scheme Support officers, a Lead Project Worker, Project Manager, providing 24/7 Support to our diverse group of customers.
Working in a team, you will provide support to 8 individuals who have complex backgrounds. We offer opportunity for our customers to engage in support which will allow them to gain confidence and the skills required to live independently. As a Scheme Support Officer, you will carry out essential work in re-engaging individuals with mental health services and drug and alcohol programmes. You will be working with individuals who require motivation and to have a positive impact on their lives, we do this by creating and developing trusting relationships with each individual client.
The role does NOT provide any personal care, medication, or interventions.
