Job Description

Technical Auditor - Pert Time - 27.5 hours per week

£23545.08 per annum

Ambrosia is not your typical food business;in our 100+ years of manufacturing the nations favourites,we have evolved into a highly automated and technologically advanced site.

We have an opportunity to join our Technical team in Lifton as a Technical Auditor on a permanent, part-time basis, working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 14:30, with flexibility required to support audits and validations out of hours.

If you are a good communicator with an eye for detail and a logical approach to problem solving, then this is the role for you.

What you'll be doing:

Carrying out Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Audits, supporting the team in identifying the root cause and preventative measures to any actions identified.

Conducting HACCP reviews with our multi-disciplinary team.

Regularly auditing Critical Control Points (CCPs), ensuring processes are being consistently followed and product safety is maintained.

Undertaking traceability exercises of our Finished goods and raw materials

Maintaining the quality management system via scheduled reviews of internal systems, retailer policies & certification standards.

Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with site teams and external service providers.

Supporting the maintenance and development of site Integrity systems.

Supporting with external audits, providing information, and driving the close out of non-conformances that may be raised.

What we need from you:

Excellent communication Skills

The ability to work independently to deadlines is essential

A good understanding of Microsoft office applications

Experience in auditing, ideally in Food Manufacturing, would be advantageous although full training will be provided

Awareness of Food Safety, HACCP and Allergens

A desire to undertake training and development
