Head Chef

Head Chef, Luxury Events | Central London | Immediate Start | Monday to Friday focus with very few late nights
I'm working with a very high end events company in central London that's looking for a Head Chef to start immediately, and this is a great chance to get your work life balance back without giving up great food.
You'd mainly be working five days a week. There are only one or two late finishes a week, usually just three or four a month, and even those wrap up around 10pm. If you've spent years doing doubles and closing kitchens at midnight, you'll know how rare that is at this level.
The food is ambitious and the standards are high, so they want someone who has cooked at Michelin level and knows what real quality on the plate looks like. The events side means decent volume too, so you'll need to be comfortable keeping that quality consistent when covers go up.
This role is perfect for a strong Sous Chef who is ready to step up and run their own kitchen. You'll get the title and the responsibility, and you'll still have evenings and weekends with your friends and family.
What they're looking for
Michelin standard experience, as Sous Chef, Senior Sous or Head Chef
Someone who can deliver quality at volume across events and hospitality
Real passion for food, seasonality and great produce
A calm, organised leader who enjoys building and developing a team
Good kitchen management skills, including ordering, GP, food safety and rotas
A Sous Chef ready for their first Head Chef role would be ideal
Available to start immediately
