Complex Care Assistant

Location: Holbeck, Leeds

Pay Rate: £17.93 per hour (including holiday pay) + 30p per mile

Plus: Fully funded Enhanced DBS and guaranteed hours available after successful completion of probation.

About the Client

We are recruiting for a rewarding complex care package supporting university student. The client requires support with all aspects of daily living, enabling client to remain independent at home, in the community, and while attending university.

Staff will accompany the client to university 3-4 times per week and provide support throughout his day.

Shift Pattern

University Support

Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 10:00am - 5:00pm

Evening Support

Daily: 6:30pm - 9:00pm

Thursday & Sunday: 1:30pm - 9:00pm

Waking Nights

Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday: 10:00pm - 8:00am

Duties Include

Supporting with bathing and personal care

Applying prescribed creams and assisting with bandaging

Supporting pain management in line with care plans

Assisting with dietary and nutritional requirements

Supporting mobility and daily activities

Accompanying the client to university and community activities

Promoting independence, dignity, and choice

Providing emotional support and companionship

Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately

What We're Looking For

Essential

Right to work in the UK

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Minimum of 6 months' paid UK care experience

Compassionate, reliable, and person-centred approach to care

Willingness to undertake specialist complex care training

Desirable

Experience within complex care

Experience supporting young adults
