Teaching Assistant - Ad Hoc Supply Opportunities Across North Staffordshire

Daily | Short-Term | Long-Term | Flexible Supply Assignments

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across North Staffordshire?

Aspire People are currently looking to expand our pool of talented and reliable Teaching Assistants to support our partnership schools across the area. We have a range of ad hoc, daily, short-term and long-term assignments available within middle and secondary schools, providing excellent opportunities to gain experience across different settings while working around your own commitments.

Whether you are looking for regular work or simply want to pick up assignments when you are available, we can offer a flexible approach to supply work.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils and teachers across a variety of middle and secondary school environments.

Assignments may include:

Providing classroom support to teachers and pupils

Working with individual pupils or small groups

Supporting pupils with their learning and development

Helping to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where appropriate

Assisting with classroom activities and preparation

Helping pupils to remain focused and engaged

Providing general pastoral and learning support

What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

Previous experience working with children or young people

Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar education/support role

Experience within a school, youth work, coaching, mentoring or childcare environment

A patient, supportive and approachable manner

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to build positive relationships with pupils

Good classroom management skills

A reliable and professional attitude

The flexibility to work across North Staffordshire

Experience working within a middle or secondary school would be particularly advantageous.
