Electrical Project Manager

This is a key role in delivering commercial and industrial projects from initial client engagement through to final handover. Fantastic opportunity to be part of an established team and really make an impact in your role!You will manage the technical, commercial, and delivery aspects of electrical based projects. The role requires hands-on project leadership and the ability to manage teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance throughout the lifecycle of each project.Main ResponsibilitiesOversee the full lifecycle of electrical projects, including planning, design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.Deliver multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they meet agreed timeframes, budgets, and technical specifications.Liaise with engineers, contractors, and clients to develop tailored project solutions.Produce and maintain project documentation, including quotations, schedules, risk assessments, and technical records.Ensure all works comply with current legislation, ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), and company safety procedures.Visit project sites as required to carry out surveys, manage delivery, and resolve technical issues.Support the development of junior engineers and ensure consistent quality of installation and workmanship.Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and third-party contractors.Contribute to planning and resource allocation meetings to support wider operational objectives.Help identify project risks early and manage them effectively.Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceRelevant electrical academic qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering).Proven experience managing electrical projectsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.Confident in producing project plans, costings, and technical documentation.Effective communicator, capable of engaging with clients, contractors, and colleagues across functions.Strong Understanding of NICEIC regulationsCommercially aware, with a solutions-focused approach to client requirements.
