The Role
As a Methods Engineer (Work Winning), you will play a key role in preparing and supporting tender submissions for complex civil engineering projects (including underground works). Day to day, you’ll be analysing tender documentation, shaping technical proposals and engineering execution plans, and coordinating inputs across project and business development teams to ensure client requirements are met.
Key responsibilities include:
Analysing tender documents, specifications and technical data
Preparing technical proposals and work plans, including risk assessments and mitigations
Developing detailed schedules, resource plans and budgeting forecasts
Identifying technical challenges and proposing innovative, buildable solutions
Supporting formulation of project execution plans for underground works
Coordinating with geotechnical engineers, construction managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
Providing technical support for pre-bid meetings and client presentations
Producing comprehensive technical and commercial bid documentation and maintaining accurate records
