Paraplanner

Job Description

A growing UK wealth management business is looking to appoint a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner to join its Chorley team.

The role will provide technical and report-writing support to Financial Advisers, with a strong focus on complex financial planning cases and delivering high-quality client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare suitability reports and client recommendations
  • Analyse client circumstances and financial planning needs
  • Build and update cash flow models
  • Support investment, pension, retirement, tax and IHT planning
  • Manage client files and ensure records remain accurate and compliant
  • Prepare annual reviews and supporting documentation
  • Liaise with clients, providers and professional advisers
  • Support advisers throughout the advice process
  • Assist and provide technical support to junior Paraplanners

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
  • 2+ years’ Paraplanning experience
  • Strong technical, analytical and report-writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • Good understanding of FCA and compliance requirements
