Job Description

Executive Assistant to General Counsel | Financial Services

City based | £65k | 12-Month FTC (Potential to Go Permanent)

4 days office / 1 day WFH

The Role

Supporting the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Legal and Compliance function. Working closely with the Company Secretarial team, you will coordinate board meetings, liaise regularly with senior board members, and maintain relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.

This is a substantive EA role involving complex diary and travel management, end-to-end board meeting coordination (including preparation and distribution of board packs), and broader executive support across the team. You will also act as a central point of administrative excellence for the function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive support to the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
  • Complex diary and travel management
  • Board and committee meeting coordination
  • Liaison with regulators and external parties
  • Team events, vendor management and invoice processing
  • Holiday cover for fellow EAs

The Person

  • An experienced, polished and discreet EA with a strong financial or professional services background. Highly organised and proactive, you will be confident managing competing priorities, working autonomously, and building effective senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong MS Office proficiency are essential.
  • Immediate candidates preferred due to the contract nature
