Production Services’ responsibility is to collaborate with the organisation to connect with our clients to design, build and operate infrastructure and cloud services. Production services have people in roles covering Operations, Architecture, Project Management and Service Management. Each team member has domain ownership for specific technologies and particular products and services but is supported by the wider team to deliver and maintain them.Day-to-day responsibilitiesInclude the design, build, maintain and support on premise and cloud infrastructure and platform solutions, including migration activities from on premise to cloud hosting (AWS, GCP).We are looking to hire a skilled Cloud Engineer with experience in the following:Infrastructure Orchestration software (eg Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chief)Knowledge of Networking and Security management using VPCAWS networking, proxy and LB technologies: VPC, CloudFORM, ELB, HAProxySource Control, CI and Configuration Management tools – TFS, GIT derivatives, Build & Release using Jenkins etc.Creation and termination of the build environment as per the client/Engineering requirementUser Management using Identity Access Management (IAM)DNS Hosting and Management – Route53Application Deployment using Elastic BeanstalkManaging the Load balancer & AutoscalingContainer deployment and Management using Elastic Container Service (ECS), Docker, Kubernetes FargateElasticsearch Cluster ManagementStorage Management – S3 bucket management (creation, access policy management, Lifecycle policy management)Who are we looking forSkills we can’t do withoutAs per the signs of success, demonstratable Cloud (ideally multi cloud) engineer design, build and run expertise, implementing cost effective and secure solutions.
