  • Supporting Project Managers with payment certification
  • Management and assessment of compensation events and project change
  • Reviewing Defined Cost and maintaining accurate commercial records
  • Supporting procurement and tender evaluation

  • Assisting with final account negotiation and settlement
  • Developing effective relationships with contractors, delivery teams and key stakeholders

About You

We are looking for Quantity Surveyors with experience working within infrastructure, utilities or another major construction environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working with NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts
  • Good knowledge of cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting
  • Experience with valuations, change management and compensation events
  • Understanding of procurement and final accounts
  • Experience within Water, Utilities, Civil Engineering, Rail or another infrastructure environment
  • A degree or equivalent qualification within Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers and contractors
  • Previous water sector or client-side experience would be beneficial, although candidates with strong transferable infrastructure experience will also be considered.

What's on Offer?

  • Salary up to £60,000, dependent on experience
  • Competitive benefits package
  • Long-term position supporting a major UK water infrastructure programme
  • Direct exposure to Severn Trent's capital delivery programme
  • Opportunity to develop your client-side commercial experience
  • Long-term career development and progression
  • Positions available in Derby and Coventry
  • Hybrid working with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office/on site
