Are you a Solar Installation Engineer with hands-on PV experience and an 18th Edition, looking for a varied regional role where you can work autonomously, develop your technical expertise and play a key part in delivering renewable energy projects?
This rapidly growing business specialises in innovative renewable energy and battery storage solutions, supporting customers across the UK with the installation, maintenance and technical support of clean energy systems. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Solar Installation Engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of solar PV systems across the South West. You'll attend customer sites to carry out installations, fault-finding and technical troubleshooting, using your electrical knowledge to diagnose issues and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently. You'll also provide technical support to customers and installers, with further product training provided to develop your expertise.
This role would suit a Solar Installer, Solar PV Engineer, Renewable Energy Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Service Engineer with hands-on solar experience, looking for a technically varied role with excellent earning potential and long-term progression.
The Role:
Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems across the South West
Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and technical troubleshooting on solar systems
Provide technical support to customers and installers on solar PV equipment
Complete electrical testing and ensure installations meet relevant standards
Travel to customer sites across the regional patch using a company vehicle
Manage your own diary and workload with no on-call requirement
The Person:
Experience as a Solar Installer, Solar PV Engineer, Installation Engineer or similar
Strong technical knowledge of solar and electrical systems
18th Edition qualification
Full UK Driving Licence
