We're looking for a confident, commercially minded Customs Clearance Specialist who understands the importance of accuracy, compliance and customer service, and who takes pride in getting things right first time.

The Opportunity

As a Customs Clearance Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing customs entries from receipt of documentation through to completion, ensuring all declarations are accurate, compliant and processed within agreed timescales.

You’ll work with a portfolio of clients, providing practical advice on customs queries while building trusted relationships and ensuring their customs requirements are handled professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Review all documentation received for customs purposes and ensure the required information is available to process entries accurately.
• Submit customs entries using Descartes E-Customs, ensuring full compliance with current HMRC legislation and procedures.
• Work to an agreed two-hour turnaround for EU traffic from receipt of the required documentation.
