As a deputy manager you will be supporting our Home Manager to continue to improve the lives of the individuals we support. You will play a vital role in both the home and wider organisation, acting as a positive role model to both staff and our supported individuals. A day in the life of a Interim Deputy Manager with Orbis Education and Care Involves:
Supporting the Home Manager to achieve compliance, with the regulatory framework, organisational objectives and a culture of continuous improvement.
Deputising in the manager’s absence and be a creative and innovative leader that supports the home to be a specialist excellent service.
Participating in the Companies “Out of hours” service.
Supporting the staff team with the transition of residents in and out of the home.
Helping to co-ordinate the homes recruitment process and lead interviews for new staff.
Acting as a mentor to new staff and co-ordinate their induction into the home.
Supporting the supervision of all staff and report on compliance.To be a successful Deputy Manager with Orbis Education and Care, you’ll need:
