Contract Engineer

Location: ReadingContract: Full time, PermanentWe are a leading business in the heating and cooling industry. For over sixty years we have been partnering with our clients, making a difference to their lives and businesses.This is an ideal opportunity for someone with the right experience, based in or around Reading.The RoleAs a contracts engineer you will be responsible for project managing the installation of refrigeration, air handling and air conditioning. You will apply your technical skills and organisational skills to make sure we deliver an outstanding customer service, meeting the unique requirements of each job.A very important part of your role will be to make sure that all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are being followed.Your days will vary, sometimes you may be in the office for most of the day, other days you will be visiting customer sites to plan a job, advise the installation team or to solve problems.You will be the main contact point for customers from initial order until commissioning. You will also work closely with our in-house installation engineers as well as sub-contractors.What We're Looking For Technical skills and knowledge as a refrigeration and air conditioning engineer are essentialExperience in supervising or overseeing installation of refrigeration, air conditioning, chillers and/or AHU's would be an advantage but is not essential.
