Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Bicester / Milton Keynes / Cambridge / Colchester / Greenford / London & surrounding areas

Salary: £45,000 – £47,174 + overtime

Hours: Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week

Trident Recruitment are working with a leading employee-owned refrigeration specialist who are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing regional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a varied role working across commercial and industrial refrigeration, with the opportunity to develop specialist experience in CO₂ refrigeration.

CO₂ experience is not required – full training and hands-on development will be provided alongside experienced CO₂ engineers.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

* Servicing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems

* Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive breakdowns

* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

* Completing service and repair documentation

* Building strong customer relationships

* Developing your technical knowledge of CO₂ refrigeration systems

We're looking for an experienced refrigeration engineer with:

* F-Gas Certification

* NVQ Level 2 minimum in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning – Level 3 preferred

* Previous refrigeration industry experience

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Flexibility to travel across the region, including London

* A genuine interest in developing CO₂ refrigeration skills
