Reception & Facilities Coordinator
Salary: £28,000 pa
Location: Cambridge
Term: Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reception & Facilities Coordinator to join a professional and forward-thinking company based at Cambridge Science Park.
This is a varied role combining front of house, administration, customer service and facilities support. You will be a key point of contact for clients and visitors, helping to ensure the building runs smoothly and is always welcoming and well presented.
Candidates from a strong front-of-house background are very welcome to apply, particularly those who have worked within hotels, hospitality, serviced offices or other busy customer-facing environments.
Key Responsibilities for the Reception & Facilities Coordinator role:
Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house service for clients and visitors.
Manage incoming calls, post, deliveries and general enquiries.
Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared and presented to a high standard.
Assist with the day-to-day running and presentation of reception, communal and kitchen areas.
Liaise with contractors and suppliers regarding maintenance, cleaning and facilities issues.
Provide basic first-line IT support and escalate issues where required.
Keep CRM and booking systems accurate and up to date.
Assist with parking, access cards, keys and general administration.
Provide holiday and sickness cover when required.
Ideal Candidate for the Reception & Facilities Coordinator role:
Previous reception, front-of-house, administration or hospitality experience.
Candidates from hotels and other customer-focused hospitality environments are encouraged to apply.
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
Strong organisation and attention to detail.
Confident working independently and using your own initiative.
