If you're an experienced 3.5-tonne driver looking for a permanent position with a respected employer, we'd love to hear from you.What's in it for you?Competitive salary of£33,800 per annum, plus performance bonusImmediate starts availablePermanent, full-time positionGuaranteed 50 hours per weekMonday to Friday working no weekendsFull training and ongoing supportCareer progression opportunitiesEmployee discount schemeFree on-site parkingFriendly and supportive working environmentThe RoleAs aMulti-Drop Van Driver, your responsibilities will include:Completing between10 and 30 scheduled deliveriesper day to retailers and merchantsDriving a3.5-tonne vehiclesafely and professionallyLoading your own vehicle before departureLoading and unloading products, including regular manual handlingObtaining proof of delivery using photographs and relevant paperworkCarrying out daily pre- and post-vehicle safety checksMaintaining the cleanliness and condition of your vehicleRefuelling vehicles when requiredReporting any vehicle defects or accidentsAssisting with unloading vehicles at the end of your shiftProviding excellent customer service at every deliveryAbout YouWe're looking for professional, reliable drivers who take pride in their work.You will need:A full UK Driving LicenceAt least 6 months' commercial experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicleLuton van driving experience is preferredNo more than6 penalty pointsNo DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsementsA good knowledge of London and the surrounding motorway networkExcellent customer service and communication skillsA good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) regulationsA willingness to carry out manual handling as part of the roleApplicants must have the right to work in the UK.
