Great Opportunity! New Business Development Manager generating new business sales across the South Coast regions for a UK leading Health & Safety Workwear and PPE Supplier.
With your industry knowledge, you will be at the forefront of for the growth strategy, responsible for identifying, pursuing, and capturing new business opportunities. Highly suited to an individual who is sales-driven, hungry for success, and possesses a strategic mindset. Your role will be pivotal in expanding the company’s market presence and extending revenue streams.
Salary: Circa £42k / Plus Bonus / Company Car & Benefits Package
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and gain a great understanding of new sales prospects across your region
Utilise your extensive network and market knowledge to identify opportunities
Generate leads and win new business
Establish strong and successful long-term business relationships with potential clients
Assess client needs, advising of products and services in line with their business requirements, and effectively communicate the value which can be added
Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure
Achieve clear, sales targets and have the hunger to achieve and exceed them
Manage and build a portfolio of customers, providing excellent service throughout
Constantly seek new opportunities to expand the portfolio and look to regain any lost business and generate additional business from the range extensions and own brand
Collaborate closely with your manager to define target markets across your region
Take ownership of entire sales lifecycle, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Produce monthly sales and growth reports
Manage customers expectation on price increases, ensuring business is retained
Candidate Requirements:
Proven track record of successfully generating new business and achieving sales targets
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Be highly self-driven and thrive in a targeted performance culture
A natural 'hunter’ in approaching any opportunity
Experience in the industry sector, with current knowledge of industry market trends
Ability to work independently and effectively manage supplier partnerships where applicable
Recognise that customer satisfaction is the key to overall success
Drive outstanding customer care, anticipating customer’s needs
Identify opportunities for the organisation to expand or enhance its service
Established network of industry contacts and potential clients would be advantageous
