Capstone have partnered with a leading, International real estate developer, who are looking for an exceptional Finance Manager - Americas to take responsibility for the full account processing, including providing timely and accurate financial and corporate reports for all the company's Americas Joint Venture entities.
DETAILED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Producing monthly management accounts for all Americas JV entities within the Europe & Americas region as well as producing monthly management accounts for each SPV and consolidating the fund where applicable.
Preparation of manual consolidations and equity accounting as required in accordance with accounting standards, performing conversions from perform conversion from US accounting policies to international accounting standard policies (USGAAP to IFRS.
To action finance tasks within an Oracle ERP environment, and to be responsible for maintaining all modules, mainly Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger for Americas.
Producing monthly management accounts for all the JV entities for Americas.
Responsible for preparing statutory accounts and lead schedules and to be the primary point of contact for auditors for all the for Americas JV's. Ensuring all filing obligations both in the UK and US are met.
Assist internal and external lawyers and tax experts in the UK, US and Doha to ensure compliance across all jurisdictions.
Prepare and manage the annual budgets and forecasts.
Treasury management. This involves managing cash calls from JV partners and the drawdown process from shareholders within very strict deadlines.
Preparation and presentation to board directors at quarterly board meetings, including making finance related proposal/s recommendations.
Review of monthly project operating statements focusing on compliance of approved budgets and JV agreements.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting on project insurance coverage, loan balances, debt compliance and other internal reporting requirements.
Manage relationships with JV partners to meet company reporting and monitoring requirements.
To undertake other such duties as appropriate to the level and nature of the role for all entities such as filings for Bureau of Economic Affairs, National Statistics Office and Companies House.
To undertake other financial tasks within the Finance Team, relating to the UK structure, and to cover during annual leave as required.
ACCOUNTIBILITIES:
Accountable for the full accounting process and reporting requirements for entities related to the Americas projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree qualified desirable
Accountancy qualification e.g., ACA, ACCA
EXPERIENCE:
Expert in US GAAP; for conversion of US GAAP accounts to IFRS compliance accounts
Expert in IFRS and consolidation Advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to report and interpret data
Ability to plan and organise effectively to meet deadlines
Flexible and ability to prioritise according to changing demands
Ability to work autonomously Preferred:
Experience in Real Estate
Experience working with Oracle 9.
