Learning & Development Manager

North Yorkshire | Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
Permanent | Full-Time

Are you an experienced Learning & Development professional looking for your next opportunity where you can make a real impact on people development and organisational growth?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Learning & Development Manager to join the People Team of an established luxury hospitality business based in North Yorkshire.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for leading the Learning & Development and talent agenda. You’ll have the opportunity to shape and develop the organisation’s learning proposition, support leadership development and create meaningful career development opportunities for colleagues across the business.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to identify development needs, deliver engaging learning programmes and help build a strong culture of continuous learning.

Essential:

Minimum 5 years’ experience within Learning & Development, Talent Development or Training
Experience designing and delivering leadership and management development programmes
Experience creating and implementing Learning & Development strategies
Strong coaching and facilitation experience
Experience working with external training providers
Experience measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of learning programmes
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Strong organisational and project management skills
Commercial awareness and the ability to link L&D activity to business performance
Degree qualified or equivalent experience
CIPD Level 5 or Level 7, CTP or equivalent L&D qualification
Desirable:

Previous experience within luxury hospitality, luxury retail or a premium customer service environment
Coaching qualification or accreditation
Insights Discovery or DiSC certification
Experience working with apprenticeship providers
Experience creating blended learning solutions
Understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest experience
Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver the Learning & Development strategy in line with wider business objectives.
Shape and continuously develop the organisation’s internal learning academy.
Identify current and future capability requirements across the business.
Design and deliver leadership and management development programmes.
Develop career pathways to encourage internal progression and support succession planning.
Coach and support managers to build their leadership capability and improve team performance.
Provide coaching, development feedback and support to colleagues at all levels.
Support talent reviews and identify future leaders.
Design and deliver engaging learning solutions using a range of training methods.
Facilitate workshops, development programmes and learning events.
Work closely with departmental leaders to identify capability gaps and recommend suitable development solutions.
Ensure learning programmes are engaging, relevant and measurable.
Support service excellence and brand standards through learning initiatives.
Develop training that supports relevant quality and service standards.
Oversee onboarding and induction development to ensure new colleagues have a strong introduction to the business.
Manage relationships with apprenticeship providers and external learning partners.
Build relationships with external trainers, coaches and learning providers.
Measure the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives.
Analyse feedback, engagement and performance data to continually improve learning outcomes.
Manage the L&D budget and ensure value for investment.

You'll be confident working with senior stakeholders and operational teams, with the ability to understand business needs and turn them into practical and engaging development solutions.
