*Responsibilities :

The main responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to:

• App development:
• Status updates on Google Play and on the XMPP server
• Push notifications
• In-app notifications

The candidate will need to look at our clients requirementsin app development going forward and de-bug the App rather than consider re-writing the App. Primary focus will be to reduce the processes we currently have in place. As we need to support old and new versions of different devices we will need users to be comfortable supporting different versions. You must be innovative and look to offer different solutions.

*Key skills and Experience:

• Advantageous if the user has VoIP/dialler experience/IM/SMS experience.
• General development:
• Developing software and websites
• Integrating our websites with the backend software
• Working closely with Marketing to ensure our websites are up to required industry standards and to get maximum marketing value from them
• Managing your own projects to ensure they run on time
• Understanding the requirements of the business and translating these into technical requirements
• Carrying out complex development tasks
• Providing guidance on best practice to team and the business
• Working with the carrier and mobile platforms

*About you:

• Must be an expert in Java with knowledge of ASP.net, C#, C++ and VB
• Solid, hands-on, development experience
• A thorough understanding of carrier and mobile platforms
• Excellent communications skills, i.e. oral, written and listening skills coupled with a strong technique to hold meaningful discussions at a variety of levels across an organisation
• Good judgment and being able to think on your feet
