Project Manager

Job Description

North East | Up to £85,000 Package (Including Car Allowance)

A growing and well-established main contractor is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join its expanding team in the North East.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, you'll play a key role in delivering a range of major commercial construction schemes, including a flagship £25m new-build hotel development. The business continues to secure repeat work across both new build and refurbishment sectors, providing long-term stability and career progression.

The Role

  • Manage projects from pre-construction through to handover
  • Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
  • Drive programme, quality and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager
  • Steel frame construction experience would be advantageous
  • Hotel project experience would be beneficial
  • Some civils and groundworks knowledge is desirable
  • Strong leadership and client-facing skills
