ENGINEERING MANAGER

Job Title: Engineering Manager

Location: Accrington, Lancashire

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000

Shift: Days (Mon-Fri)

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership position with responsibility for the engineering function, team performance, site reliability and future engineering strategy.

You'll lead and develop the engineering team, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and drive improvements in plant reliability and performance. You'll also take ownership of engineering budgets, get heavily involved in CAPEX projects, machinery upgrades and site improvement projects from planning through to delivery.

Working closely with production and senior management, you'll help reduce downtime, improve maintenance strategies and identify opportunities to improve equipment, processes and overall site performance.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineering Manager

Engineering management or senior engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing background

Experience leading and developing an engineering team

Strong engineering and technical background

Requirements for the Engineering Manager

Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)

Experience managing engineering projects, budgets and contractors

Previous experience working as an Engineering Manager in the UK

Experience with CAPEX projects and machinery upgrades

Experience with CMMS and improving preventative maintenance strategies
