About Our Client:

Our client, a reputable organisation in the legal industry, who have seen a huge amount of growth since 2022 is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team in Newcastle. With flexible working hours across 7.00am-7.00pm and a fantastic range of perks, they ensure a conducive and supportive work environment for their employees.

About The Job:

As a Payroll Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and preparing the company's payroll process for all subsidiaries. Your key responsibilities will include collecting necessary data, assisting with payroll preparation, resolving staff queries, liaising with HMRC, and managing company pension schemes. You will also be responsible for management reporting and ensuring compliance with information security policies.

This role is office based and requires you to work 35 hours per week.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 GCSE's grades 4 or above (or equivalent)

Prior experience within a Payroll environment at Officer Level

Excellent numeracy skills with strong attention to detail

Good organisational skills with a cooperative and flexible approach

IT literate with experience of payroll software (ideally Sage)

Commitment to own personal development
