Due to expansion of the business, we have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Restaurant Associates at Beaulieu National Motor Museum on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Overall purpose of the role: Deputise for the Head Chef or Catering Manager as required and manage the kitchen staff in their day to day activities ensuring the delivery of the food service achieves all daily shift production & waste targets
Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the required standards and portion specifications Motivate the team through effective communication Train & develop the team Assist in food production planning, processing of food orders and monitoring of stock Manage and maintain the cleanliness of all kitchens and surrounding working areas Perform other general tasks to support effective food service delivery as reasonably requested Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator Representing Restaurant Associates and maintaining a positive brand image Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards Complying with Health & Safety regulations
