We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Payroll Manager to lead a Payroll Team for a period of 3-6 months. This role is based in Epsom, Surrey, with hybrid working allowing for 2 days in the office. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the People Services Team, delivering exceptional HR services and ensuring a great customer experience while meeting all policy and compliance requirements.
Day-to-day of the role:
Lead and deliver end-to-end internal payroll in line with legislation, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and a high level of employee experience.
Collaborate with the global People Hub Team based in Bangalore to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Oversee pre-payroll processing, payroll runs, and post-processing tasks, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.
Manage monthly payroll reconciliation and third-party payment reports, including Pensions and Court Orders.
Authorise and transmit BACS payments within required deadlines.
Maintain ongoing compliance with National Minimum Wage requirements.
Process and reconcile Flexible Benefits and manage Annual Renewal.
