Job Description

About Rehlko

Rehlko is a global leader in power and energy resilience. Formerly known as Kohler Energy, Rehlko has continually shaped the way the world powers homes, industries, and critical infrastructure.

As part of this exciting growth, WB Power Services has now become Rehlko. This transition marks our evolution into an OEM, allowing us to design, build, and deliver complete power solutions from the ground up. It’s a transformation that strengthens our technical capability, expands our product range, and deepens the value we offer to our clients.

We retain the strong, values‑led foundation of a family business, while being empowered by the scale, resources, and global vision of Rehlko. For our people, this means new opportunities, bigger projects, and a chance to shape the future of resilient, sustainable energy.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to take full responsibility for day‑to‑day operations across our construction and installation sites. You’ll lead from the front, managing Rehlko and subcontractor teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, with a particular focus on the installation of large diesel generator systems into hyperscale projects across Europe.

You’ll act as the key on‑site authority for Health & Safety, drive quality and compliance, and build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

This role offers the chance to work on diverse and technically complex projects within the power generation and M&E environments, alongside genuine career development opportunities into senior management or project leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for daily site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, on programme, and within budget.
  • Lead and manage both Rehlko (WBPS) personnel and subcontractor teams on site.
  • Act as the primary Health & Safety authority, enforcing safe systems of work and company procedures at all times.
  • Prepare and approve company RAMS, and review and sign off subcontractor RAMS.
  • Manage Permit to Work and Isolation procedures across all site activities.
  • Identify, mitigate, and report risks, escalating any significant issues or delays to the Project Manager or Technical Director.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the Projects team to plan works and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Attend Head Office meetings in Derbyshire as required for project handovers and team briefings.
  • Represent the business professionally, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Carry out pre‑start inspections and post‑completion checks to ensure all works meet Rehlko quality standards.
  • Travel regularly across the UK and Europe, including extended stays in line with project requirements.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or industrial M&E environments.
  • SMSTS certification (essential).
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and current Health & Safety legislation.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, enforcing RAMS, and leading site operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively and work away from home, including overseas assignments in Europe.
  • Desirable: experience within power generation or wider M&E sectors.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience.
  • Company vehicle.
  • Private healthcare.
  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Death in service benefit.
  • All expenses covered when working away.
  • Additional allowance for working on European projects and extended stays overseas.
