CAD Technician
West Midlands
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers and planners to develop CAD drawings for highway projects.
Design road layouts, signage, and markings to enhance safety.
Conduct safety assessments and propose improvements based on industry standards.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Participate in site visits and inspections as needed.Requirements:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
Experience in highway design, road safety, or related fields.
Knowledge of traffic management and safety principles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
