Job title:Unit Maintenance Technician (Multi-Skilled Engineer)

Contract: Permanent / Full time

Salary:£57,289 per annum plus paid overtime at 1.5x rate

Hours / Shift: 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights, 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am (42 hours on average)

We'relooking for a highly skilledUnit Maintenance Technicianto join our Engineering team in Telford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to work within a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment, supporting production through both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

You'llplay a key role in maximising equipment reliability, reducing downtime, driving continuousimprovementand ensuring our manufacturing assetsoperatesafely and efficiently.

Whatyou'llbe doing:

Carrying out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and support production performance

Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities through our CMMS maintenance system

Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical and automation faults

Maintaining pumps, valves, filling equipment, processsystemsand fast-moving production machinery

Ensuring all equipment is safe and fully operational before returning it to service

Identifyingroot causes of equipment failures and implementing permanent corrective actions

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency

Working collaboratively with Production and Operational teams to achieve site performance targets

Maintaining engineering standards that support safety,qualityand OEE performance

What we're looking for:

Essential:

Time-served engineering apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification

Experience working within a multi-skilled maintenance environment

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

Experiencemaintainingmachinery within manufacturing, production,processor FMCG environments

Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and automated production lines

Experience of preventative maintenance systems and planned maintenance activities

Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills

Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment

Excellent communication and team-working skills

Desirable:

Food, dairy,beverageor FMCG manufacturing experience

Knowledge of filling and process technology

Experience using CMMS maintenance systems

Continuous improvement experience

What we offer:

£57,289 annual salary

Paid overtime at 1.5x rate

£5,000 sign-on bonus for Multi-Skilled Engineers (paid upon successful completion of probation)

Annual bonus opportunity of up to 5% (subject to company performance)

282 hours annual leave
