We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician position at a reputable independent service centre in Exmouth, Devon.

• Up to £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience and qualifications
• Monday to Friday working hours, with no weekends or late shifts

Duties:

• Diagnosing faults and determining necessary repairs or maintenance procedures
• Performing routine servicing and light repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Conducting MOT testing in compliance with DVSA standards
• Road testing vehicles to verify quality and safety
• Handling parts efficiently and responsibly
• Providing excellent customer service and technical advice to clients
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with skills in diagnostics and repairs
• Relevant experience in vehicle servicing and light repairs
• MOT licence highly desirable but not essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Formal qualifications are not essential; relevant experience is highly valued
• Able to work Monday to Friday, with a professional and reliable approach
