The Company
Are you an experienced Production Manager looking for the opportunity to build and develop a growing production team within an innovative technology and manufacturing environment?
We're working with a leading organisation based at Harwell that is continuing to invest in its production capability and is looking to appoint a Production Manager to lead operations at its Oxfordshire facility. This Production Manager role offers the chance to take ownership of production performance, develop a high-performing team and play a key role in supporting future growth.
As a Production Manager, you'll work closely with Engineering, Quality and Planning teams to ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Production Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Leading production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets
Managing and developing production teams while building a positive and accountable culture
Planning resources across people, materials and equipment to meet business demand
Monitoring production performance, KPIs and operational data to drive improvements
Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to optimise production and resolve issues
This Production Manager position offers the opportunity to shape a growing production function while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this Production Manager role, you will need:
Previous experience in a Production Manager or similar manufacturing leadership position
A background within manufacturing or production environments
Experience leading teams through supervisors, team leaders or similar management structures
Strong understanding of production planning, capacity management and operational performance
Experience driving KPIs, continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
What They Can Offer You
As the new Production Manager, you can expect:
Salary: Up to £55,000
Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
