Data Centre ManagerLocation: North WestSalary: £65,000 + Bonus + BenefitsEmployment: PermanentSector: Data Centres / Critical InfrastructureThe OpportunityNova Artes is working with a leading organisation within the data centre and mission-critical sector to recruit an experienced Data Centre Manager.This is a senior site-based leadership position offering a £65,000 basic salary plus bonus, with responsibility for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a critical data centre environment.You will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the facility, leading engineering and technical teams while maintaining exceptional standards across uptime, compliance, maintenance and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesOverall operational management of the data centreLead, manage and develop engineering and facilities teamsEnsure maximum availability and resilience of critical infrastructureOversee planned and reactive maintenanceManage specialist contractors and service providersManage critical works, change control and permit-to-work processesEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety and site proceduresManage incidents, escalations and emergency responseReview RAMS, permits and safe systems of workMonitor KPIs, SLAs and overall site performanceSupport budgets, lifecycle planning and CAPEX/OPEX activityDrive continuous improvement across engineering and operational processesMaintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholdersTechnical EnvironmentYou will ideally have experience across critical infrastructure including:HV / LV systemsUPS systemsGenerators and standby powerSwitchgear and transformersChillers / CRAC / CRAH and critical coolingBMS / EPMSFire detection and suppressionBuilding services and environmental monitoringWhat We're Looking ForWe are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:Previous management experience within a data centre, critical facility or mission-critical environmentStrong electrical and/or mechanical engineering knowledgeExperience leading engineering teamsA strong understanding of critical infrastructure and operational resilienceExperience managing PPM and reactive maintenance programmesContractor and supplier management experienceStrong Health & Safety and compliance knowledgeExperience managing critical incidents and high-risk worksExcellent leadership and stakeholder-management skillsCandidates currently working as a Data Centre Manager, Critical Facilities Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Critical Facilities Engineer looking to progress would be particularly relevant.Package£65,000 basic salaryPerformance-related bonusCompany benefits packagePensionHoliday entitlementOngoing training and professional developmentLong-term progression within the data centre sectorInterested?The data centre market continues to experience significant growth, making this an excellent opportunity to join a critical environment in a senior operational position.All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.£65,000 + Bonus | Permanent | Data Centre ManagerAll applications will be treated in the strictest confidence
