Position Overview
The role of SEO Strategist is to create and implement creative and effective SEO strategies for our clients ensuring that their objectives are met. This role involves client and prospect liaison and assisting the Head of SEO with the day-to-day management and mentoring of the SEO Team.
Structure
Reporting to the Head of SEO, you will also build strong relationships with: -
* The Technical Team
* The Paid Team
* The Content and Social Media Team
* The Senior Management Team
* The Administration and Finance Team
Role responsibilities include: -
* Assist the Head of SEO to manage, mentor and motivate the SEO team
* Effectively communicate SEO strategy to our clients and prospects
* Be involved in regular client strategy review meetings and provide feedback to the SEO team and Heads of Departments
* Create and implement SEO strategies for our clients and prospects
* Maintain and develop excellent professional relationships with our clients to aid in achieving their objectives and client retention
* Carry out client site crawls, identifying and investigating issues and assign necessary corrective workload to be carried out
* Create gap analysis reports
* Analysing client campaign success and feeding back to the Head of SEO along with recommendations
* Creation and management of client website migration plans
* Link building – identifying areas for outreach, checking links...
