Finance Analyst

Finance Analyst | Interim 10 months + | Berkshire | £36.00 P/hr Umbrella Co.

For a government organisation based in Berkshire, we are recruiting an interim Finance Analyst for 10-months. Working within a specific division, the Finance Analyst will be customer-facing and key in the analysis and interpretation of financial information for stakeholder decision-making.

Main Duties:

Working with stakeholders on a regular basis to help them understand financial information for decision-making

Provision of financial analysis and data

Ensure stakeholders and budget holders comply with financial processes and the internal finance control and governance framework is in place

Identify and implement process improvement activities

Work closely with colleagues to support a high-performing team

Occasional training and development of Finance Analysts / Graduates

Person Specification:

Previous Government, Security, Nuclear, or Defence experience

Part-qualified, finalist or qualified accountant

Experience within an FP&A, budgeting, management information and business planning team

Experience in partnering with a range of stakeholders

Experience with Oracle Fusion and advanced Excel is desirable
