The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

They are a small subsidiary of a much larger financial exchange firm.Your primary role is the design and development of components for frontend applications in collaboration with the back-end team and the production support of those components.In many cases, you will work with various members of the team to develop new front-end interfaces from scratch, fulfilling a need in the financial and life insurance sectors.You will need to establish testing procedures and where possible automate testing.You will be part of a team of 6-8 developers where the sharing of experience and training of others is strongly encouraged.

The firm is currently based in Brussels London and Prague.

The firm’s 40 employees come from diverse backgrounds: IT & finance, male & female, various nationalities.Your primary role is to develop and maintain applications for the financial industry.

Your role is:Writing clean, scalable, easy to understand, and maintainable codeAnalysing and testing software before deployment.Close collaboration with team members including those in remote locations.Working autonomously on given tasks, proactively gathering requirements if needed.Improving company’s build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).Fronend Developers must have:At least 2 years of proven track of record of software design and development.JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS3, SQL, JQuery, Bootstrap, Web ServicesWorking knowledge of Bootstrap or similar UI framework, proper understanding of stateless vs stateful development styles, proper understanding of source control/continuous integration.Experience with dependency injection, unit testing, object mocking,Solid experience of the Software LifecycleThis is a unique opportunity for someone to expand further into financial technology.
