Finance Manager

Immediate Start or 1 month notice required

Reporting to the Finance Director. Turnover is circa £100k. My client is looking for someone available immediately or 1 month notice period on a permanent basis. We’re looking for a broad range of management accounting experience.

Key targets for the year include:

Management Accounts

• Quarterly update of site profitability appraisals.
• Ad hoc profitability appraisals for scenario modelling
• Creation and maintenance of consolidated business plan from individual site appraisals

Banking

• Assist with financing / refinancing of a number of development sites.
• Monitor banking covenants
• Process BACS and same-day payments

Company secretarial

• Creation of new SPV’s for site purchases
• Maintenance of corporate filings at companies house
• Insurance renewals
• Consider alternative pension providers, salary sacrifice etc to improve the benefits offering here without increasing cost.

Other Duties:

• Support with banking and refinancing; liaison with solicitors and funders to review facility documentation, agree completion statements and funds flow, clear Conditions Precedent and Conditions Subsequent etc.
• Modelling finance requirements and cashflow
• Monitoring covenants
• Creation and maintenance of management accounts packs for funders
• Quarterly update of site profitability appraisals.
• Ad hoc profitability appraisals for scenario modelling
• Creation and maintenance of consolidated business plan from individual site appraisals
• Support with / lead on insurance renewal for Group contractor’s all risks, property owners, professional indemnity, employer’s liability, office, fleet (v small policy), directors and officers, plus site CAR / property owners + adhoc site-specific policies

This will be a hands-on role, it’s a small team which processes weekly payments for a complicated business with turnover that can hit £100m.
