Senior Developer

Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading organisation based within the Watford area to recruit a Senior Developer to join their expanding team.

This is a well established company that are looking to grow their internal IT team, with a view of further developing their brilliant customer portal.

This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to influence the organisation's technology direction. This person will be joining a team of 3, and be part of a team that will further grow due to the internal IT team growth and development of their customer portal.

Salary - up to £75,000 depending on experience plus great benefits

Hybrid working with 3 days in and 2 days from home

Some of the duties will include:

Take ownership of the development and maintenance of the internal customer portal

Develop and enhance C#/.NET applications and RESTful APIs

Build and maintain integrations with databases and business systems

Develop robust, secure and maintainable solutions

Work across both modern and legacy codebases

Contribute to the modernisation of the technology estate

Develop new internal tools and applications using Microsoft technologies

Work with Azure, Power Platform and emerging AI technologies

Participate in code reviews, testing and agile delivery

Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues

Troubleshoot application and integration issues

Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver solutions

The suitable candidate:

5+ years' professional software development experience

Strong C# and .NET experience, including .NET Framework

Experience developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET

Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience

Experience with Microsoft Azure and Linux-hosted applications

Comfortable working with both modern and legacy systems

Experience with Git/GitHub and agile development

Able to work independently and take ownership from requirement through to delivery

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

A collaborative approach and willingness to share technical knowledge

Interest in Power Platform and AI technologies
