Salary: £12.85 per hour/£26,728
Hours: 9.30pm to 7.30am Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays and Saturdays

We are recruiting dedicated and resilient individuals to join a therapeutic childrens residential service supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). About the Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will remain awake throughout the night to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of children living in the home. Youll also support the smooth running of the household and contribute to a nurturing, stable environment.
Alongside your night shift duties, you will complete a 6 month work based training programme designed to equip you with the therapeutic knowledge, skills, and experience needed for automatic promotion to Waking Night Therapeutic Carer following assessment.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment throughout the night
Carry out regular checks and record updates accurately
Complete domestic tasks such as laundry and light cleaning
Respond to situations and emergencies with guidance and support
Provide a thorough morning handover to daytime staff
Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and external professionals
Contribute to each childs therapeutic experience of living, relating, and learning
