The Role

As a Platform Integration/Infoblox Engineer , you will be a part of the Customer’s Application Delivery engineering team who is responsible for the engineering and renovation of Global internal & external DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure, virtual and software LTM & GTM capability.

This program involves consolidation and replacement of customers DDI infrastructure leveraging Infoblox. The team will also be responsible for integrating plants into our centralized self-service configuration management & monitoring systems and delivering plant management automation.

In this role, you will contribute engineering and deploying an Infoblox grid to support DDI activities in a new build secure enclave of customer’s network.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work with solution architects, operations, application developers and fellow engineers to provide a well-documented, monitored, stable and supportable DNS, DHCP & IPAM plant.

· Communicate with internal clients and stakeholders to identify new business requirements and design well architected infrastructure solutions that meet their needs.

· Recommend changes to improve performance and stability at the configuration or code level.

· Work as a top-level escalation point to perform complex troubleshoots, work with other infrastructure & application owners to resolve issues in the environment.

· Implement automation for certification and plant management using Python and Ansible.

Your Profile

Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

· DNS and networking knowledge and solid technical fundamentals.

· Expertise with Infoblox DDI architecture, deployment, configuration, and management APIs (BloxOne, Threat Defense, Global Load-Balancing etc.)

· A firm understanding of networking concepts & protocols at all layers: TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP, SSL etc...

· Experience automating repetitive tasks related to installation, configuration or management of infrastructure using Ansible, Python, shell, or other scripting/programming language.

· Comfort working with a Linux-based command line.

· Hands-on experience deploying & configuring other network infrastructure (Cisco, Arista, etc...).

· Experience with distributed web applications and knowledge of their underlying infrastructure.

· Knowledge of virtualised and containerized infrastructure.

· Understanding of software version control, deployment & build tools and SDLC practices.

· Recognised industry certifications from Infoblox and other DDI vendors.
