Mechanical Engineer - Dorset - Temporary Contract

Venn Group's specialist Estates & Facilities recruitment team is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to support a contractor delivering projects across a public sector estate in Dorset. This interim opportunity offers a varied role working on complex building services, plant, and engineering systems across multiple sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Undertaking fault finding, testing, installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment

Ensuring critical building services remain operational through planned and reactive maintenance activities

Providing technical guidance to maintenance staff and contractors while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures

About You

Significant experience working within a complex engineering or building services environment

Extensive knowledge of mechanical and/or plumbing systems and associated maintenance requirements

Strong understanding of relevant legislation, technical guidance, and industry standards

Key Details

Rate: £27 per hour(Umbrella)

Location: Bournemouth

Contract: 3 Months Ongoing

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Start: ASAP
